Effect of Mechanized Ridge Tillage with Rice-Rape Rotation on Paddy Soil Structure

چکیده
Ridge tillage is one of the essential methods in China. It affects soil structure by altering soil-water environment. With rapid development agricultural mechanization, mechanized ridge technology that combines modern agriculture with conservation has become a pertinent production hilly regions. However, to date, effects on have garnered little attention. In this study, field plot experiment involving following four treatments: conventional rice and winter fallow (CK1), rice-rape rotation (CK2), wide (BT), narrow (RT) was conducted study aggregate stability porosity. The results indicated could reduce porosity pores > 30 μm diameter increase < 0.5 μm. Furthermore, stability; order average mass geometric RT BT CK2 CK1. treatments agglomeration degree particles, which followed Therefore, effective enhancing structure.

Mechanisms of Soil Aggregates Stability in Purple Paddy Soil under Conservation Tillage of Sichuan Basin, China
Abstract: Ridge culture is a special conservation tillage method, but the long-term influence of this tillage system on soil aggregate-size stability in paddy fields is largely unknown in southwest of china. The objectives of this paper are to evaluate soil aggregates stability and to determine the relationship between SOC and soil aggregate stability.Soil samples at 0-20 cm layer were adopted ...
متن کاملRICE CULTURE The Effect of Rotation, Tillage, Fertility, and Variety on Rice Grain Yield
Average grain yield for the full-season varieties, over all treatment combinations, was 165 bu/acre. This average was impacted primarily by variety differences with ‘Wells’ averaging 180 bu/acre and ‘Cybonnet’ averaging 152 bu/acre. There were no significant differences between rotation, tillage, or fertility main-effect treatments. Summaries of grain yields for the main effect of tillage indic...
متن کاملRoot-Derived Short-Chain Suberin Diacids from Rice and Rape Seed in a Paddy Soil under Rice Cultivar Treatments
Suberin-derived substituted fatty acids have been shown to be potential biomarkers for plant-derived carbon (C) in soils across ecosystems. Analyzing root derived suberin compounds bound in soil could help to understand the root input into a soil organic carbon pool. In this study, bound lipids were extracted and identified in root and topsoil samples. Short-chain suberin diacids were quantifie...
متن کاملEffects of ridge and conventional tillage systems on soil properties and cotton growth
Cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) seeds are susceptible to low temperature and excess moisture in soil during seed emergence in years with high rainfall and low temperature in spring. Therefore, a two-year field experiment was carried out to evaluate effects of ridge tillage formed in autumn (RT-I), ridge tillage formed about a month before planting (RT-II) and flat conventional tillage (CT) culti...
متن کاملEffect of Intermittent Drainage on Nitrous Oxide Emission and Global Warming Potential in Rice Paddy Soil
Water control is mainly one of the key factors that can affect nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from soils. This study was undertaken to determine the effect of intermittent drainage compared to continuous flooding (conventional water regime) on N2O emission to global warming potential (GWP) with NPK (standard cultivation practice), NPK+Straw, and PK fertilizations. Nitrous oxide emission rates we...
